Monoprinting with Akua; Methods & Techniques

For those of you who want to take printmaking with a gelly plate to the next level. Akua inks are environmentally friendly and have special characteristicss. Easy to clean with soap and water, yet yielding incredible translucency and luminsoity simultaneously. These are light fast intaglio inks providing an incredible range of detail and subtlety. You will be learning about tone and tint mixing as well as layering and creating textures with found and simple materials. You will leave with a series of monoprints.
